Anytime I come to D.C. I make time to go to Tranquil Space. The yoga instructors work with me and where i am in my yoga growth.
The boutique is a perfect place to buy gift items and clothing that are earth friendly. Tasting the complimentary tea and cookies while shopping makes the even experience more enjoyable.
I feel like family when I walk into Tranquil Space.

Pros: Best yoga studio in D.C.

I attended the newbie workshop as well as the New Year's eve class, in addition to a couple of Yoga 1 classes. The teachers here are fantastic and are so helpful. Being a new yogi, I never felt uncomfortable or like I didn't match up with the more experienced students. At the same time, the instructors pushed the more advanced students in their practice. They serve amazing tea and cookies after classes, and the space is just what it advertises... tranquil. I always leave this studio feeling energized and revived. Thanks TS!

Pros: Great for newbies and experienced yogis

Cons: No parking

This is a very cute studio located in a walk up. Is is welcoming and friendly. It has a very inviting atmosphere with well organized rooms -such as little floor marks on the floor as to where you should line up your mat. They have a great little shop area and well most of all - wonderful classes! It is a very homey, in a good way, studio. This is a great place to practice.
Oh and after each class the teacher goes up stairs to the library nook for tea and cookies with the class and one more thing they have a great welcome packet for newbies!
