I absolutely LOVED my spa day at Sassy! I have Lashes extensions, Facial and waxing with Lynn, Her facial very good and so relax, I highly recommend this place...The salon really nice and clean, can't wait until my next visit!

was sooo excited to be patronizing a BLACK OWNED nail salon and to finally get the infamous MINXX nails everyone was raving about. Boy was I disappointed:-(

When I 1st entered I was impressed by the "nail bar" set up. An asian man approached me asking me what service I wanted. I told him a minxx pedicure. He starts to tell me how much the minxx mani and pedi cost. I didnt say anything about a mani and i dont like to be fast talked and up sold. Then he tries to confuse me with the price of the pedi stating that it was 70 for the pedi and 45 for the minxx. Now I did my research and that is not what I read. So a nice young lady named Myia clarified everything for me and I told them that I wanted her to do my pedi. The male nail tech was very irritated and started yelling at Myia.

So Myia did my pedicure. She was pleasant but I wish she would have massaged my feet a little more. Overall she did a good job and had a nice personality. After my pedi she tells me that the other lady will be doing my minxx but fails to tell me how long it would take.

Welp it is 1 hour later and the lady finally gets to doing my minxx. It takes her a total of 10 minutes to finish it and after she is done she proceeds to tell me not to wear closed toe shoes or heels or else it will peel. WTF??? it is fall. So you tell me this AFTER you are done and i am about to pay my $70. I took a deep breath and mentioned it to the manager who said if I wear a footie I should be fine. I wasnt convinced. I dont like to be bamboozled.

So I pay my bill...tip Myia $15 and tip the minxx girl $5. i decided to see what will happen since it was a done deal instead of making a fuss about it

Welp i go out that evening and wear open toe sandals as told and the VERY NEXT DAY my pinky toe stars unraveling. OH HELL NAW.....not for my $90. So I called the salon to speak to the manager. I recognized the managers voice because we have spoken before and when I asked to speak to her she said the manager was not in when it was CLEARLY her. So I left my number and she had yet to call me back. Waay too many games for me.

I may have looked shabby when I walked in but she would have gotten a lot of business from me. i was the guinea pig for my all my friends and my girl was contemplating having a girls night out there.
