This is part of Walter Reed and is not easily found if you don't know where you are going. They have some of the most morbid medical curiosities on display. A giant hairball, a leg with NF and many jars of disfigured babies. This is probably not the place to take a young child but older ones would probably find it very interesting.

This museum has excellent exhibits on the human body and the AIDs epidemic. There are bottled human organs, skeletons, and graphic illustrations of the effects of disfiguring diseases which at times can be pretty gross. I think this was the best part of the museum but I wouldn't take any small kids here. This museum is not easy to find and is located behind the large white Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Admission is free.
