Great place to go for consisitantly good food, good service, and good prices. There is always so much noise that you cannot have a converstaion without yelling, but the food is really worth going anyway. Wait staff is very attentive and tend to bring a drink refill before you get the chance to ask, also homemade chips and salsa brought right after you are seated. We have had issues several times with the hostess staff not seating people in a honest ,next on the list type of way that can get a little irritating.

Pros: Food is always good, friendly staff

Cons: can be a VERY long wait, very loud.

This is by far my kids favorite restaurant. They love the candy at the end. It is one of the few places that I always walk aways saying that was GREAT! Oh and don't forget your fee balloon on the way out the door

You can't miss this place with the big EATS sign right out front. The place is always busy, and I found the chairs to be a bit uncomfortable for the amount of time you wait (straight wooden seats!). It is a good time, and offers a TEX MEX menu and decor.

This is a family favorite! The food is plentiful and tasty and the price is very reasonable. Lunch is the best time to avoid the crowds. If you have trouble hearing, definitely go at lunch.

This is by far the best texmex food in de. There is many things to choose from on the menu. The kids meals are a pretty good size. For kids there are fajitas, burgers, chicken, and more that all come with fries, a drink, and a choice of M&Ms or Starburst-- ALL FOR ONLY $2.98. All drinks - Coke products- have bottomless refills
PROS- family friendly atmosphere
- great food
-great prices
-very good waiters
CONS- can get loud
- thats about it

The Border Cafe is the place to go for very well-prepared Mexican and Cajun specialties served in heaping portions at very reasonable prices. It is family friendly (it can get loud at times) and also gets crowded, but who can complain when the all-you-can-eat corn chips and salsa are free with each meal and the food is better than that from surrounding places at a fraction of the cost? Best bets include the fried catfish tacos (make sure to ask for guacamole and sour cream), fajitas that are served on sizzling skillets (that admittedly cause your clothing to reek), and healthier options like the perfectly prepared mesquite grilled salmon San Sebastian served with a mesclun greens and black bean and corn salsa. Other very good options include the gaucho chicken and the chimichurri steak. Plenty of vegetarian options exist as well as good margaritas to wash down your meal. Big kids and little kids each have their own menu, and the kids meals include fajitas, quesadillas, burgers, and all come with fries, a drink, and M&M's or Skittles and will set you back less than $3. The servers are all youthful but generally enthusiastic and are great at keeping your drinks refilled and your basket full of chips. The restaurant does not serve dessert except for the kids meals.

Very popular place because of good atmosphere, good food, and good prices. Service is very good. The food is excellent for the price. The chips given before your meal are always hot and salty (perfect!).

PROS:
CONS: crowded during peak times

This restaurant is the best Mexican food available in Delaware. It is not the classic rice, beans and meat that you find at Taco Bell or La Tolteca, but they mix it up and have much much better food that you cannot find elsewhere. By far the best Mexican I have ever tasted. Would recommend to anyone. Also have vegetarian menu.

PROS: Wonderful food, good prices.
CONS: Long wait because of its popularity.
