Walls Apartments

I stayed at here Aug '09, last month. It was great. You are only blocks from the beach for just $70 per night. You can't beat that. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It could be 100 out on Rehoboth Ave. but surrounding by the shades trees at Walls Apartments it is cool and cozy. Never showered outside before. Showers have doors for privacy but it was kind of neat to be au natural. The deep claw foot tubs in the cabins were nice and clean as well. If location and price are important to you, this is definitely 5 star accomodations. Couldn't ask for much more for your buck.

I've stayed at the Walls Apartment numerous times and I won't go anywhere else. I love dealing with Mrs. Wall-McCool. She is a wonderful person and she makes you feel like your family. The place may be outdated to some, but the place is clean and the people are all friendly unlike most of the high priced motels. I wouldn't go anywhere else

Walls is a great place to stay! It is a little outdated but you have to keep in mind it is run by an elderly woman who is the nicest of nice. It isn't like all the fancy hotel's near by that you have to pay $200 a night to stay at. For a week you can stay here for around $600-$700(depending on apartment size). I stay here every year and would not think of going anywhere else! A 2-3 block walk to the beach past all the shops and restaurants is not bad at all! I would DEFINITELY tell you to try this place out!

The Walls Apartments is outdated, but I admire that. EVery two seconds an old beachhouse is bulldozed to put up a fancy new condo which takes away the "beach house" feel that I grew up with. I admit, the Walls could use some renovations, but like the previous poster said, "You get what you pay for." You can't find a place like this that is witin walking distance to the beach for that price. Last year we stayed for 2 weeks, this year we're planning on staying a month! I'll take sub-optimal accommodations any day if it means we can stay for twice as long! The kitchen is a real bonus & saves even more money. No need to dine out for every meal, you can stock the fridge & cook your own meals. Very family friendly. Mrs. Walls is a gem, people like her are hard to find these days. Each confirmation is handwritten & snail mailed, as is the personal thank you note that we received - where do you get that kind of service nowadays?

This is where you get what you pay for. Stayed recently and left early. Very, very outdated accomodations. Located in quiet area of Rehoboth. It is quite a walk to the beach. Highly disappointed and would not recommend. Did not get what we were told on making the reservations. Unless you do not care where you sleep, do not stay here.
