This place has been here for almost 20 years and it is as good as the day they opened! Husband and wife do all the cooking, the food is always fresh and plentiful. The soups, especially the Greek Avgolemeno are some of the best we have ever eaten. There is no mistaking they are made from scratch. Their salads are made individually and to order; the freshest lettuce and the Feta is like no other I have ever had. The antipasto is so absolutely delicious! They use only Boar's Head Lunch Meats. We asked what they do to make everything so good and the owner told us it is the quality of the ingredients he uses. The olive oil also available for purchase is Kalamata, not a blend of different oils from different countries: pure first press virgin GREEK olive oil. His wife says she uses it on the salads, baking, roasting and sauteing. Oh, and the GYROS, they are homemade not that frozen stuff. They make this wonderful blend of lamb and beef served on a toasted pita with a fresh greek yogurt cucumber garlic sauce topped with fresh veggies, even flat leaf parsley. Amazing, we are hooked on them! Their dinners are truly delicious. The husband is Greek and Italian so he makes the most wonderful entrees, you actually feel like you are at a family dinner table. We have had Beef Burgundy, Roasted Pork Loin with Red roasted potatoes, Lamb Shank (enough for 2), Moussaka, Pasticcio, Lasagna, Crab Cakes and Stuffed Peppers. Get the Special of the Day because there won't be any left the next day! Oh, and if you can get there before 11 am you are in for the best breakfast of your life. The omelets are truly amazing, really filled with fresh veggies not wimpy frozen tidbits. They use the locally made Kirby & Holloway Country style Sausages. Big Links not those little pencil sticks. Do not pass on the home fries, again that olive oil is used and the wife spices them with she won't say but delicious. Her pancakes and waffles have the most delicious flavor, we are truly hooked on this place. We have asked why no Sunday breakfast but they say they have children and need a family day. Everything is available for takeout and they will even do parties. I have bought the olive oil and bring my bottle back in for a fresh fill up, feta by th pound, yogurt from Greece and honey also. Oh, and you can also buy the homemade tomato sauce that is so delicious you can eat it by the spoonful. Did I mention the vegetables, the green beans are to die for. Don't tak e my word for it, go try this place; you will be thanking me.
