I took my Nissan Xterra in after a collision that the ruined front end (they replaced the bumper and right front quarter panel). However, the repair took a lot longer than expected (approximately 4 weeks) due to parts availability. In all fairness, it happened right before Thanksgiving of 2007 but there was no call to inform me that it had been pushed 2 weeks past the original estimated repair date. I have taken it back 2 times since then - twice for a rattle that started under the dashboard which wasn't present when I took it in... they said leaves in the dashboard and cleaned them out the first time but then the rattle started again. The second time they said the fan went bad and I did not get it replaced as the insurance company felt it was not part of the original accident. There have also been other various indications that they did not do a thorough job including a front fog light that still does not work; I even changed the bulb myself as it obviously did not get changed from the accident based on the oxidation but that does not appear to be the issue. This light was only available through my Nissan dealership so it took me a while to get it. I guess I can understand why they didn't change it themselves but this is still part of the repair from the accident and it DID NOT resolve the issue when I changed it in any case. I also found other wires hanging down from the same assembly under the bumper TO THE GROUND (I'm taking it back a 3rd time to have it looked at along with a noise that has started when I turn the wheel). The grinding noise will hopefully be just a belt that needs replacing but I am somewhat worried that it might be part of the original accident. I understand that cars are rarely ever the same after an accident but I expected more thoroughness and more careful estimation of the work.

Each time, they took it back under their warranty. I hope this 3rd time they will do so again. The price for the original repair seemed fair based on my limited knowledge of automotive repairs. * Took itback and fixed the foglight issue as well as a loose power steering pump clamp which was leaking fluid and causing a noise. They also detailed the car for me without asking and had it back to me by the end of the day. Very friendly, quick turn around.

Master-Tech has been great to deal with. I have had 2 cars in to them for repairs and the service has been great. The repair work has been from accidents and this place is authorized to do insurance(Nationwide) work. Its nice because they bill the insurance directly and you only have to pay your deductible. I recommend this place.

PROS: Excellent service
CONS: Location
