Gordo's is so great! My friends and I try to meet there for lunch at least once a month. Last week I had the Cuban Sliders and ordered some of their Gordo sauce to go with them, which was amazing, especially with their fries. My friend got the empanadas with yucca and fried plantains and she really liked hers. We have friends who have graduated and moved away who miss Gordo's so much! It's their first stop when they come back to visit.

I dig the tapas, fries and Gordo's sauce. The red beans and rice are really good too. The prices are great, especially when you just want to try a few of the tapas on the menu. Last time I went there, I tried the yucca, empanadas, and maduros, and a basket of fries. All were really good, and service was fine.

Gordo's is awesome! Great fries, especially with that Gordo's sauce, good Cubans, good grilled fish, good burgers, good service, good beer. Great location too, right in the hub of things. I recently had the Media Noche and it was amazing! They've got outside seating, which is great when the weather's good, especially in the fall. If you dig a pressed sandwich with lots of pork and cheese with some black beans and rice and some seasoned fries, you gotta go here.

Since I'm not Cuban, I can't offer an opinion on authenticity, but I can say that it's GOOD. Good fries, especially with that Gordo's sauce, good Cubans, good grilled fish, good burgers, good service. The only glitch is the parking.

The black beans are good, and I have had the grilled fish and chicken too. Always fresh, never overcooked. The service is not super fast, but it's friendly, so you might want to avoid the lunch rush if you are in a hurry. You can eat inside or outside, depending on if you can tolerate the summer heat or weather. A must-have is the basket of seasoned fries with their famous sauce. It's plenty to share.

Gordo's has good sandwiches and seasoned fries, great plantains, rice and beans, and a wide selection in their bar. It's close to FSU and the downtown area. I've never had negative issues with the service, but I've also never been there when I was in a hurry. I like the atmosphere, and it's always been crowded when I've been there. The price is right, and you get hefty portions for your money. I try to go here at least once a month, and I've never been disappointed.

We LOVE Gordos! Great Cuban food, though perhaps not the most authentic. Yummy black beans and rice, sandwiches, and the fries are SUPER great! And you can't beat the price.

Gordo's is one of my husband's favorite places in Tallahassee. They have good Cuban food. I think it is pretty greasy but it hits the spot when you want something like that.

I came here while on a trip to FSU and the food was great. It's not the best I've had, but it's very good. They have an outdoor patio that's really nice too.

I went to Gordo's with some friends on a trip to FSU. The food was great and the place always has a fun crowd. If you love Cuban food you will not be disappointed!

I haven't always been the biggest fan of Cuban food. But every time I come to this restaurant their food is excellent. The service can be a little bit slow at times, but its a great place to spend some time with friends. I've yet to try something here that I haven't liked and really enjoy their cuban sandwiches and plantains.
