This restaurant was recommended by a friend. Craving "homemade" Italian one night, I decided to try it. The server made a great recommendation. The food was tasty with generous portions (enough that I ate Penne Rosado for lunch for 2 days, and it actually was BETTER with each passing day). I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. As I was eating alone, I elected to sit at the front bar and met a few very friendly people as well. A very comfortable, satisfying meal. Will definitely be returning.

Pros: food, atmosphere
Cons: Too far from my house
We called in six separate orders for pick-up. When we arrived we asked to pay for the meals seperatley.
The cashier working (Owner-Trisha) was having a difficult time allowing us to pay this way. She then preceded to ignore us while she checked out other customers.
This shocking unexpected mistreatment continued with verbal attacks toward us, deliberately showing her dissatisfaction-like a child- which seemed to be related to the unwillingness of splitting a check in a restaurant.
When my husband confronted her later about the incident, the owner said "I have never had to split a check, six ways before."
I beg Jacksonvillians to not eat here for the sake of keeping good customer service alive in America. She is the owner and if the owner does not value her customers then what does that say about the restaurant. Plus the food is better at Paesano?s on Beach Blvd by San Pablo.
