Capone's has been there before everything around it got fixed up. The place really has not changed in over 15 years, but the food inside is good. The service and wait is a little long, but most places by the beach are laid back.

I have lived in Hollywood since 1994 and have been going to Capone's Flicker Lite since I first discoved the Chicago style pizza that couldn't be matched. UNFORTUNATELY the Flicker Lite I went to at least twice a month is gone. My last 5 visits included the always impossible parking problem, horrible service from staff that make me feel like I'm bothering them and, the saddest of all, inconsistant pizzas. My last straw was the burnt (no question about it - not overcooked - BURNT) pizza they had the nerve to serve me. My boyfriend insisted that I give them one more chance after all these years so I did. I picked up a pie yesterday and - sorry, another let down. Only one of the guys makes an edible pizza anymore and I shouldn't have to find out if he's working before I go (last time I called they wouldn't tell me anyway). It's so sad to say goodbye but I will never go again.

Pros: Watch Chicago teams on the TV's

Cons: Parking and Pies

Sunday June 24th two friends and I had thee worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Flicker Lite you just lost 3 customers because we'll never be back. From other review sites (Trip Advisor) we're not alone. Apparently you don't care or you would get rid of the worthless piece of so called manager DOC!
We were sitting at the bar and it took everything short of standing on the bar to get served. Three empty beer bottles sitting on the ledge and we'd have to flag down the bartender who had been walking past the bottles multiple times and ask for service "oh you need another beer" ah duh...
Some poor sap with probably the same non existent service complaint tried to run on an $80 bar tab, you should have seen the bar staff jump then!
When the bartenders returned with the "dine and dasher" we asked if that's how you get attention there because we've been waiting once again for service. That was met with a very nasty response basically letting us know we were inconveniencing him. At that point we asked for the manager and the response was "we don't have one". We asked who we would lodge a complain to and were told "write the paper". And the rude comments didn't stop there. I went to the hostess stand to inquire about making a complaint and she told me to talk to the manager Doc and pointed to the person who I was there to complain about! I couldn't believe it, never in my life. Owners of Flicker Lite what are you thinking?!?! As Doc recommended "write the paper" and I intend to find every restaurant review site including local papers and do just that. It's really a shame because the pizza is awesome there but not worth the aggravation

This pizza belongs in the intercostal.
Never tasted anything that bad. Two bites and it was sent back.
Walked out with out paying.

Located on N. Ocean Dr on the water this is a fun place to eat. You can sit right on the dock and enjoy the view and eat for a reasonable price. Family owned this place makes good pizza as well as burgers and other bar type foods.
It's fun for the whole family and has beer on draft too.
