Plaza Resort and Spa

I read a lot of good reviews on this hotel, so I was expecting it to be pretty great. Boy was I disappointed. First of all, the staff was very unfriendly; almost to the point of being rude. When I asked the front desk worker about airport transportation, she rambled off a phone number very quickly and continued doing something else. I stayed here for business, so internet connectivity was imperative. The internet connection as this hotel is the worst "connection" I have ever experienced. Of course when I informed the staff, they made it like it was my equipment and not theirs, even though I can access internet from everywhere except that hotel. The bathroom is an absolute joke. There is only a pedestal sink with no counter to place toiletries. Water pressure in the shower was non-existent, but I do have to say that I never had trouble getting hot water. The air conditioner was VERY loud, but it kept the room cool. The door to the rooms are as big of a joke as the bathrooms. There is about a 3 inch gap beneath the door, so you can hear everything in the hall and everyone in the hall can hear everything in your room. You also have to slam the doors to get them to shut properly. The best part of the hotel was the location as it is within walking distance of a movie theater and several restaurants. The big screen television is nice and the swimming pool is very nice with free towels. Overall, I would never stay here again, nor would I tell a friend to stay here.
