Francis Tire & Auto Svc

Francis himself charged me for a generic auto diagnostic test w/ wrong results ($50) - all other mechanics refund this once work is done, he did not...he also refused to give me the written results despite charging me?!.. Next he recommended work that would have been dangerous to my car/could have ruined my transmission. He ordered a mystery part per faulty diagn. test but then claimed it came in wrong from the dealer; then offered no apology for hrs of my lost time. He claimed to have done transmission work (new fluid - again dangerous when done by unprofessional like him b/c volvo requires specific fluid) & w/out my approval he then charged me nearly $200 FOR NOTHING (he did not touch the fluid at all despite billing me for it??) & he forced me to pay him in order to get my car back. He then refused to speak with me when I wanted to get a refund for labor he charged me for a part that never arrived. I realized he did nothing on my car (b/c he knows nothing about the mechanics of foreign cars); this has been verified by two prof. mechanics & in fact, what he recommended would have ruined my car & caused over $4000 in damage. He is very dangerous and dishonest - am filing claims with local gov agency & BBB - so you can find offical notes there under his business name! The local gov't agency has a file with all current claims against him - there are several & one from Aug 8 2009 in addition to mine.

Our whole family are die-hard Francis fans. From my mom's cars to my first car and now my sister and many others by word of mouth, I believe the most impressive thing about Francis is that he cares about the "bottom line"...and his bottom line is honesty. He tells you straight what you need and sometimes what you don't need and does a reliable, honest and fairly priced job every time. There's nothing I value more than being able to go to a mechanic without the anxiety of being taken advantage of. He runs a top notch place and is #1 in our book!

Francis saved me about a $1,000 off what the Porsche dealer wanted for a set of tires, and the ones he recommended (BF Goodrich) provided a great ride. He was friendly, professional and quick. In short, this man is a craftsman, and you don't find that every day.

We stumbled across this place one day when we had a flat tire. This place is great! Francis the owner is so kind, knowledgable and reliable. His staff is terrific too!
I have taken my cars to him for the last few years from oil changes, flat tires and air conditioner repairs. He is very accomodating.
He stands behind his work and has always done a great job in my book!
I highly recommend him and his services!
