Reviews for Tami Nails

Ratings_icons Tami Nails is good with pedicures

Susan E. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,601

I have had several pedicures there and they do a decent job. Sometimes the ladies are hard to understand since they don't speak very fluent english work hard and do a nice job.

Allison C.

I was just in Tami Nails in Clermont, Florida, which happens to be a place that I frequently turn to to get my nails done. I had been in about 3 or 4 weeks prior to today's visit and was charged $20 for a fill, which I thought was very reasonable since I had to have a few nails redone entirely. The place that I went to before had charged almost $35 for the same thing, so I was very pleased with the work done at Tami's and the nail tech was cheerful and talkative. I went in today and a.) had to wait longer than usual, b.) had to stare at a TV the entire time because the nail tech wouldn't talk to me, c.) had to correct the nail tech because he was incorrectly painting them after I had specifically stated how I wanted them done, and d.) was charged $28 instead of the $20 I had paid less than a month before. Obviously with the almost $10 increase I was shocked because I had only brought in a twenty-dollar bill. I explained that that was a bit high from the last time (for the same exact thing I got last time) and he told me that because I got just the tips painted (which used 1/2 the paint it would've to paint the whole nail) and a silver line across each nail that it warranted the extra $8. And then told me that he would take off the nail polish if I wanted to go home to get the extra $8 and then he would repaint them when I got back. Now doesn't that make sense... lose $8 and not have a bunch of bad reviews on popular web pages, plus not lose future business, or piss off a continual customer and lose more than that just because I'll take my business elsewhere from now on, and so will others that read all the reviews I plan on posting! Now aren't they a smart place of business when it comes to customer service!

I went to Tami Nails for a full set of nails. The same night my fingers were so itchy and raw it was awful. Well, come to find out they use the same files, brushes, etc on the same customers. If you go, request NEW files and items to be used on you.
