I am giving Verizon zero stars due to the customer service they offer at the new location at 11395 Causeway Blvd Brandon FL, 33511. My service consultant was Amy Mixson who briefly went over everything with me and did not explain the exact amount I would be paying for the two phones. Two weeks later I received an email stating my new balance was over $600.00. Needless to say I was a little furious and went back to Verizon the next day. I spoke with Amy Mixson again and explained she did not give me a clear explanation on the plan and charges. I asked her how long she had worked there but Amy avoided my question and did not answer it. I was going return one of the phones and just keep the lower costing phone with basic the service. Well after asking her a few questions and her giving me the wrong answers I just decided to cancel all service with them and asked if her co-worker by the name of Eric Kirby III could take over the transaction because she did not know what she was doing he refused and said Amy could finish. Well at this time Amy finally told me she had only worked at Verizon for 4 months and I told her that just proves my point and I requested to speak with the manager and again she avoided my question which escalated the issue. The Retail Sales Manager Joel Guzman came over to help but still would not take over and continued letting Amy handle the return. I was furious at this point and could see Amy was about to start crying and stated to Joel if he could finish the return so Amy could go in the back and pull herself together. They proceeded to tell me the customer that I was being mean and that if I kept it up they would not help me. Finally Joel stepped in and finished the transaction and I stated that??s all I wanted was you to handle this and Amy could of stood by and watched how it was done so she would know in the future. I have been in customer service for over 15 years and I know if someone is upset you try to give them what they want and not make them suffer and get more irate.

i recently got a new phone. and had issues with AT&T and transfering the number. it was such a confusing, annoying drawn out task. i went into the verizon store, which is now located off causeway blvd in front of Lowe's, and the place was packed. yet, the staff immediately greeted me and was very helpful. they gave me a number i could call to instantly get my number changed over.

i walked outside to make the call as it was quite noisy inside. while i was outside, it started to rain. i went to stand under the alcove. i was wearing flip flops. when i went to walk back in, i slipped and fell bc the entry is wood before it turns to carpet. before i could even blink, literally, there was a manager's hand holding out to me asking me if i was okay. and an associate was right behind her. she directed another associate to immediately get the wet floor signs and towel to wipe up the little water i had dragged in.

while i did hurt my toe, the staff made sure i was comfortable and if i needed to file a report. i didn't. i just stubbed my toe and i was the one dragging in the water.

after confirming my number transfer at the desk, before leaving the person who was helping me double checked to ask if i was okay and apologized for the incident that occured.

despite that, this store rocks and i will definitely be going back if i need anything. GREAT CARING SERVICE!
