DO NOT BUY GUARDSMAN FURNITURE WARRANTY'S.
HAVERTY'S Sales Rep Fred Olivelli pitched the service as a "Pick Up the Phone and Someone" will be there to fix your furniture" This couldn't be further from the truth.
We bought 4 stools from Haverty's and they sold us a 5 year replacement warranty saying that all we had to do is call. Well, Guardsman is the warranty company and they require pictures and forms and and they put you through the ringer. I will let everyone know what the result is, but as of 2/10/12 they have refused to honor their warranty. I have been forced to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and intend to file a small claims against Haverty's for a refund of the warranty and all court costs due to the untruthful sales tactics that was used to sell me the four stools and the warranty. I might even request a refund of the stools if Guardsman refuses to fix the broken swivel on the stool in question after the BBB closes the case.

The only salesperson who offered to help us didn't have a clue what inventory she had in the store and told us they did not have anything we asked for. I am giving her the benefit of the doubt that she was new. Once my husband and I browsed around the store, we found what we were looking for and couldn't find any other salesperson but this lady to help. The other salespeople were more interested in standing in a circle drinking their coffee (or whatever they were drinking). When we went to pay for our large purchase, we had to wait about 20 minutes because the salesperson kept writing up the bill wrong. Again, probably because she was new. The other salespeople did not even budge to help her.
As if the in-store nightmare wasn't enough, on delivery day, dispatch and the driver called me several times because they could not find my house despite my very specific directions. The lady in dispatch even suggested that I drive to the nearest intersection to meet up with the delivery truck and bring them to my home. My child was taking a nap and there was no way I was going to wake him up, nor should I have to, because of their incompetancy. They finally arrived, set up the furniture, and left me with their mess of foam and boxes to clean up. I gave this store 2 stars instead of 1 because I am very please with how my new furniture looks in my home. I would never buy another piece of furniture here again though for fear of going through the same drama.
