When they first opened late 80s early 90s it was the best place in Ocala. I would of gave it a 10 but now its just a few steps form going out of business. I like the waterfall by the magazine section or the big hole in the ceiling thats been there for a long time. You would think they would go to the self help section and fix the roof. But again the sound of drip, drip, is kinda peaceful. Or how they are pushing the discount cards everytime you check out is a pain. See they finally changed the carpet from when the store opened. Oh well guess Barnes and Knoble will be the only place in town soon.

The name of the place is misleading. They don't have a million books, they often carry only part of a series. Whenever I go in its always hard to find what i want because the store is a wreck. They dont have the stuff in order. And when i ask for help they never have what i want because they can't find it. So they want me to order it and wait! I could just do that my self! The staff try to help but they often have no idea what they are doing, especially in the coffee shop. I go there from time to time with my family and it sucks because as a regular you would think they would acknowledge me when i come in but they never do. My wife says that it is just me and she loves the place. but so far i don't agree. If they would clean the store up and get more staff and tell them to greet it would be fine in my book!

I love the store. It is a nice place to go to unwind. Not the best organization but a nice place still

This is a nice Books A Million store, with a large selection of books in almost every category imaginable. The staff is helpful, but a little difficult to find. The children's section is pretty disorganized--there seems to be no particular rhyme or reason for the placement of books, but other than that, I would recommend the store. It also has a nice coffee-house store inside with a good selection of drinks and such.
