As a child in Florida, during the time of the Cuban-Missile crises, my parents would take us to various places in Florida. I thought one of the most beautiful places I have seen was the Sunken Gardens. The diverse plant life and atmosphere was great. Glad that it is open and going strong. Plan on going back and see it among other sites. I have fond memories of Florida.

Located in downtown St. Petersburg is a real gem. Visiting Sunken Gardens will restore your spirits and bring you in harmony with nature. Truly, this is one place I didn't want to leave! They have an amazing array of flowering shrubs, flowers, and trees to enjoy as you meander leisurely down cozy lanes and hear the birds chirping. The price of admission is very affordable, great for the whole family.

The first time we visited Sunken Gardens was eighteen years ago. Then they went through financial problems.

I am delighted to say that it is back to nature again. It is pretty and they have spent money and time making it nice to walk around.

The price reflects the couple of hours you will spend there. Don't forget to take a camera with you.

The Sunken Gardens are great to go and visit for a few hours on a weekend afternoon. They have beautiful scenery and greenery and it's a great place to take pictures. It's almost like a park that's semi-indoors. The admission is reasonable and won't break the bank. The only complaint I've had is that the parking is limited since it is shared with a restaurant and museum.

This is a nice place to go with the family. Its located in downtown St. Pete and is very beautiful. I took some amazing pictures during my visit. Its also relatively inexepensive and close to some very nice restaurants. I wish I could get my garden to look like this place! Its absolutely phenomenal. A must see for any tourists or locals.

PROS: Atmosphere
CONS:
