I ordered a pizza to be delivered to a nursing home where I am staying. I told them to call me when they were leaving so I would know when they were going to arrive and meet the delivery driver at the front door. Well, I know places get busy, but when the guy said he'd call for sure, I thought he would keep his word. I didn't hear from them and as I made it downstairs, they were just arriving. Good timing on my part. I paid the driver with tip but neglected to open the box before he left. WHAT A MESS! I was in the elevator by the time I flipped open the lid to find my entire pizza slid over to one side of the box.
My husband said it was the worst pizza he's ever tasted.
I would not order from this particular store again. Very sloppy work in handling our pizza.
Pros: the box was made of cardboard
Cons: pizza had a flat taste to it, was about 5.00 a slice, and slices were mushed together in a clump.
