It's not a difficult course, not that much water as other courses in the area. Greens were ok but fairways need some work. Beginners will have a good time playing here.

This is my home course and what a great test of golf for the weekend golfer. Lots of water, traps, trees and a really interesting layout. Bring your best swing for the first tee shot. A canal in front with a large lake on the immediate right which wraps around the fairway means that any slice, or a drive longer than 250 yards will be wet. 100 yards of lake and a green protected by traps on the right and left, await your second shot. A par or birdie on this hole makes the whole round worthwhile. Ample fairways and reasonable length holes make the course enjoyable for the novice and seasoned golfer alike. This is a risk/return golf course where course management pays dividends. The longer hitters can really take advantage on the four dogleg rights as the course sets up nicely for righties who fade the ball. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this course is that the back nine plays several strokes easier than the front, which allows you to make up strokes from the first four holes which can play really tough if you are not hitting the ball straight from the first swing. The course condition is generally good depending on the time of year but the fairways are tight, as is true with many public community courses of its type. The greens have been improved and roll pretty true without much break most of the time. The facilities are not fancy but the staff is very friendly and the restaurant provides a great post game atmosphere to lie about your round. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun and relaxed day of golf without pretensions.

This golf course has been in business for many years and is very popular with the locals that live in the area.. The course is well tended and both my son-in-laws have played there many times without any complaints...My only complaints are the golf balls that land in my yard.

There is a great learning program for children with a practice course.

PROS: Well tended course
CONS: none
