Probably the last review was before they hire at Dennis, very unpleaseant individual, friendly only over the phone while he gets your money, once there he is miserable, we tried to complement his food and the ambience and he is negative about everything, also the room we had needed some remodeling, the beds are sunk and the comforters has stains, carpet filthy, we wonder what was that, we sleep there one night and was very disapointed, we usually go to Simonton court or Curry Mansion but they were booked, we end it up sleeping the other 2 nights some where else and loose our money, we did not want speak with nobody. I have to admit that the breakfast and happy hour snacks was delicious, that's why they only get 1 star. The place has a lot of potential. This is a very honest opinion, we will not be back there. If Dennis is unhappy all the time he should be working some where else, may be at the Days Inn.

I was pleasantly surprised at the charm of the Cypress House. The staff is quite gracious and accommodating! They truly honor the fact that you are a guest and treat you as such. This is definitely a return stay as I don't think any other place could top them in the Keys!
