My neighbors, who use and love Dr. Gessner, suggested I take my wonderful schnauzer to her because his previous veterinarian kept telling me that nothing was wrong..in spite of my thinking otherwise. She immediately referred me to a fabulous oncologist who discovered his lymphoma and extended his life and my comeraderie with him for a year. When the time came to let him go gently to sleep, we went to Dr. Gessner, who was incredible in every way. She has a heart that is as big as any I have ever encountered. She is warm and thoughtful to the pet as well as to the humans. I simply cannot say enough about what type of person and professional she is....certainly someone that others should aspire to emulate.

I have three cats and two of them were near death when they were just 5 weeks old. With Dr. Gessners great care, they both survived and 5 years later they are going strong. She always finds time to see me anytime they are sick with no notice or appointment and always finds a way for me to work out payment. She almost always discounts her fees. Surgery is a last resort for her. If it were money or big fees she cared about, she would be quick to want to operate. My one kitty is now suffering with some kidney stones and Dr. Gessner has done everything possible to avoid unnecessary surgery and pain for her, not to mention the expense for me and she is recovering nicely. I have now moved across town but will always travel to take my cats to her. I have recommended at least 4 other friends to her who all feel likewise. She truly loves the animals in her care and what is important is that they always seem to sense that she is trying to help them.

took my cat here because she had her front claws taken out and she got an infection. They could not get me in right away and then told me what they would charge me for a office visit, I about freaked, but they finally got her in and they were super nice as far as that goes but very overpriced

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC. first of all, the vet, dr. sara gessner is absolutely wonderful. she clearly loves animals and was very kind to mine. as far as getting appointments, i was given one right away and their prices are in the medium range, which i feel is fair. they are most certainly NOT overpriced. i have had dogs all of my life and definitely know and understand vets, their abilities, and their prices. i was delighted with dr. gessner's abilities and her concern for my dogs. the office staff couldn't be nicer and are very helpful.
