Yes we had to wait for dinner but it was a Friday night at 7pm. The food was great. the service was amazing and the view is worth evry dollar.

My boyfriend and I traveled to the Cafe for brunch after reading all of the reviews. The trip was well worth it, there was no one on the corner bugging you to eat there, mostly locals (what a relief). The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Daniel is the best.

We went to the Front Porch after a friend reccommened it as having lots of vegan and vegetarian options. This is true, but they are not very good options. I had a burger that was served in a pita bread.

There are a ton of restuarants up and down Ocean that try to get you to eat there, I am so glad we held out for the Front Porch. The food is so good and the service is great! We went there twice and wait maybe 10 minutes at the most. Not to mention it is not that expensive. I was trying to stay on my diet while on vacation and I found a ton of healthy food options at Front Porch that made it really easy.

this place has good food, big portions and at low prices. The service is a little slow - probably because they include the gratuity even on a party of two.

I came here for brunch w/ a friend and though we waited about 15-20min for a table, I think it was well worth the wait. I had an omelet, she had a grilled chicken breast sandwich w/ pesto -- we both loved our food but were disappointed with the mediocre fruit bowl that accompanied our meal. Our food was reasonable considering we were right on beautiful Ocean Dr.

Biscuit meal is fabulous! The bacon and potatoes are scrumptious. Fresh squeezed orange jusice was very refreshing. Also a wonderful spot to watch people passing by on the beach front.

I love this place! On Ocean Drive where the competition is severe, this place shines by delivering real food. You can feel the effort put into each plate. I?m not talking fancy gourmet...I'm talking simple yet delish dishes. The breakfast bonanza with sliced tomatoes on the side is the only hangover helper I could ever recommend. The staff is friendly...the menu is huge and wholesome. The dinners are good too...try the chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese and the Mango chutney on top. The secret got out a year back though so expect a wait on weekends for breakfast...

I would go here for the food, which was delicious and large portions. Typical SoBe pricing, but you do get what you pay for here. The location is far enough off the beaten path of Ocean Drive, that getting a table isn't too difficult. Staff was nice, but do not go for a quick bite, just relax and enjoy the quieter side of Ocean Drive.

The food was very greasy and the service was very slow. It took along time to get refills on water. Also the food did not seem fresh and had a lot of oil on it.

Breakfast here was great, but don't go looking for the pancakes recommended in previous reviews. I did, and was pretty disappointed to find that the only ones on the menu were granola pancakes. Don't let this keep you from going, though.

French toast was fabulous. I restrained myself from licking the plate. My sister-in-law, however, did not practice any such restraint, and after polishing off one piece of the key lime pie, very daintily ordered another! (She did share a bit of the second one.) Eggs with onions, cheese, and mushrooms were also delicious. The only complaint from our party of ten that I heard was from my brother-in-law and nephew, who had the pizza. They didn't enjoy it.

I love this place! The food is great, I have been ther a lot and it's always a great experiience. Friendly service, great big portions. It's a little crazy busy on the weekends but it's worth the wait. A must!

Everytime I visit South Beach I make sure I ate at Front Porch at least 3 times a week for dinner. I never had breakfast (shoo I'm not awake that early from all the partying I did the night before) *LOL* The portions are exceptionally large. The food is very tasty and fresh. I haven't had anything on the menu that tasted bad. I highly recommend this spot.

This restaurant has one spectacular breakfast menu. Absolute best bar none in Miami. I stopped by one Sunday morning for the first time because of an extremely high recommendation and I must say, the food and service were excellent. There were no problems with the seating or anything. Respectful staff and restaurant guests. I was greeted by the manager and the assurance of a wonderful breakfast experience was indeed granted. If you're on Ocean Drive, it is definitely a must. -L.A.

Great spot for eggs, any way you like all day long. The catch? Horrible service. But what can you expect when the tip is automatically added on! We had to ask for our toast three times, the water was never refilled, despite our begging. The waiters seem bored. Too bad 'cause the food is great, especially if you like eggs!

Although this popular breakfast hangout serves breakfast all-day, it may take 30-minutes to get our order on the weekend. The service here is very poor, which is unfortunate since the gratuity as automatically added.

I took the recommendation of all teh good reviews from citysearch and I was not let down at all. I too had the sicilian omelette, it was DELICIOUS! Our waiter was cool, the non-waiters that brought the food out was a little incompetent, but wth, the food was great and not pricey at all. I recommend it in no time.

For a great breakfast in Miami Beach, the Front Porch Cafe is the place to go. Our waiter was friendly, informative, and attentive. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the French toast (the batter was made with orange zest-great touch!), and I had the Sicilian omelette (marinara sauce, cheese, green peppers, Italian sausage), which I highly recommend. The portions were huge, and I definitely felt that I had gotten my money's worth. I would certainly eat here again.

My partner and I have been dining @ The Front Porch for 5+ years and feel like family in this low-key establishment. The food is always plentiful and tasty. The service is reliable with Claudia, Maurissio, Dawn and David amoung our favorites. The drinks are strong so, enjoy. AND, they have the best breakfasts in town!

The Front Porch is one of the very few places in the very transient world of South Beach that can claim to be a locals' landmark. What it lacks in razzle-dazzle glamour, it makes up for in great and healthy food, immense portions, great ocean views and nice, friendly service. Dinner at the Front Porch is just as outstanding as breakfast...but it's a lot less crowded which makes it a good "get-away" place.

The Front Porch is a great all around breakfast place. The service can be slow and bitchy... but what do you expect from the typical SoBe Queens. If you can get past that you're in for a great breakfast.

Great looking crowd, breezy front porch and jazz playing made our experience feel like we were dreaming. The food was delicious, portions fresh and generous. Very friendly waiters. Awesome!

little slow on service, but always good service just seems not to have enough people on hand. but that is miami beach where no one wants to work. the food is the best . i have lived here for appprox 10 years and it is always friendly. the prices are great for what you get .

Recently A close friend and I dined at the Front Porch. I have been there a couple times before. A few months a go, I had a negative experience. However it was my friends 40th birthday, and he wanted to go there. I have lived all over the world, and I moved to South Beach 167 months ago. This dining experience was the WORST!!!!! I can honestly say, without doubt, this barely O.K. food, but the service was the worst ever in my entire life!!!!!!!

I felt bad, as it was my friends Birthday, I will never recomend this restuarant nor will I ever go back!

I have never had a bad meal at Front Porch Cafe, the food is always fresh and plentiful. I recommend the Front Porch Cafe to everyone visiting from out of state.

This place is outstanding for breakfast. Make sure you try their wheat pancakes. Their entire menu is prepared with great taste and it also has a healthy kick to it.

After reading a review of the Front Porch, my friend and I knew we had to try it for breakfast on our first day in South Beach. We stayed in South Beach for 5 days and ate breakfast at the Front Porch Cafe every single day! Perfect, inexpensive, great service, outside seating. I love the Front Porch Cafe. Everything is fabulous! Fresh fruit, granola, eggs, pancakes & fresh squeezed orange juice. I can't wait to go back!
