This place is more like a nursing home in disguise! There are people there that should not be such as total lifts (some requires 2 people), catheter care, people that need to be fed, complete total care on all adl's and elopement risks that may have a wander guard on that doesn't work or no wander guard at all. People that have broke bones and should be in rehab until fully healed. The management is not professional or even always caring or kind. They put on an act for people and talk badly about residents and their family members. They are blind to things that go on for some but will punish others. Nothing is fair about discipline, there is favoritism. The "nurse" is an LPN and a JOKE. She always passes stuff on others, doesn't help out her staff, she could care a less about the residents or staff. When a resident is hurt, sick has a question or goes to hospital she won't check on them but get home health or hospice to. I don't think she even knows much or how she managed to get her license. She is rude, cold and unprofessional. The administrator doesn't pay attention to things and wouldn't believe things if you told her. She listens to lies and doesn't believe truth. Some employees are genuinely good, nice & caring but it's only a few. This place sucks overall.

After checking out several assisted living facilities in the area, my sister and I had absolutely no doubt that The Vineyard Inn was the best choice for our mother??s new home. Mom resided there for a year before passing away last December. I visited my mother most days, so I was very tuned in to the operations of the facility. The Vineyard??s staff is very caring, professional and friendly; the facility is beautifully decorated and very clean; the atmosphere is homey ?? like a bed and breakfast; a full-time nurse and activities director are on staff; and the food is delicious ?? especially the daily fresh-baked cookies! By the time my mom passed away, The Vineyard had become a second home for me ?? I didn??t want to leave! I suggested to Sandy that I handle the marketing for the facility, and fortunately she agreed. ? I highly recommend The Vineyard Inn to anyone who is in need of assisted living.

I looked at numerous ALF's in the area for my 82 year old Mother, and found The Vineyard Inn to be the best. Great food, beautiful decor, warm people.

It's difficult to really recommend any Assisted Living Facility at all but as far as alf's go, this one is satisfactory. The owner and staff are very nice and accomodating but the rooms could use some improvement.
