Pride Air Conditioning & Appliance was started in 1974 by one man and a dream, my father Barry Pearl. My name is Howard Pearl. I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to carry on his labor of love for Pride Air Conditioning. I worked side by side with my dad for over 20 years since graduating from college. My work experience started much earlier, in fact in my early teens, the memories of holding a flash light for my dad while he worked on an air conditioning repair, priceless!

I have been a Pride customer for many years, I own 2 apartments n Palm Aire. I was employed in N.Y. for 10 years as manager of an appliance repair service. I know and understand the business. I know the complaints and what it takes to supervise such a large company. For this reason I know how much it is appreciate to get compliments concerning your business. I wanted you to know that I admire the efficiency, timeliness, knowledge and skill of your repairmen. They are all friendly and get the job done quickly without ever leaving a mess behind. You recently sent a plumber to diagnose a leak that caused damage to my apartment.

I am again amazed. I just talked with tom, from AC sales, and was again absolutely thrown by the honestly of their staff, which must be passed down from Mr. Pearl. I am a long-time customer for this reason and the respect and courtesy of their staff in general. Tom had done his homework; looked up my account before he called, and quickly answered my question of whether or not i needed to upgrade my unit right now. There is little to say about a business beyond the comment that i think they have integrity plus. My kudos to Tom, and to Mr. Pearl for obviously having imparted this philosophy to his employees.

Dear lady Debbie with Pride A/C,

Thank you for being instrumental and a team player for helping me to send for the 2nd time Kevin (mechanic) who told me my 2005 AC unit is running just fine. On 9-28-13 I was told by ECM I needed a new AC unit and recommended a Rheem, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman. I said I would seek a second appraisal. I called Pride AC, in comes Kevin 10-10-13 fixing my unit for $479.95 and suggests to replace rusted drain pan. Those were hard days for me, in comes Dennis 10-16-13. New drain pan $300 Today I am very thankful to be allowed to have a new contract with Pride AC inc. Lady Debbie, please thank the girls for taking my stress calls. Along with Jay who helped me to sign a new Pride Contract during this period of time.

I just had to drop you a line regarding an electrical repair I needed and the service man that came to fix it. The service technician was pleasant, KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING, and did it well. If I could give them a negative 5 STAR RATING i WOULD! My 90 year old mom purchased a new AC unit from Pride 3 1/2 years ago. It has given us nothing but problems. It'a alwayshumid in the house and the coils freeze every time we turn it down to 70 degrees. I have had to live with the contents of my hall/air handler closet contents on my couch and in my living room so I can get into there to check the cllois every night. \nI have lost over 3 months of wrk over the past 3 years waiting on their technicians and every tech has given me a diiferent excuse as to why it isn't running properly and tell me the unit is fine. I had less problems w3ith the 35 year old ac unit it replaced. My Mom is on the medical emergency list for ac repairs because of her health conditions. I called today and they told me they don't have a medical emergency st. However they have a medical emrgency waiting list. It's almost 90 degrees in the condo and when I called for service they said they can't get snyone out there until Monday. The last time I had to call them they were supposed to show up by 5. When I called the office to find out where they were I was told someone had cancelled the appointment. I have a laundry list of poor service with them and told my mother to stop renewing her contract because they are useless. Pride has no pride! Save your money and hire a contractor when you need services. It will be cheaper in the end. Any time they came to fix the AC they managed to bill us $200 - $600 on top of the $400+ they charge for the service contract. This has been going on from the time it was installed. It's a relatively new AC Unit. Yet they say there is nothing wrong with it. Poor service, liars and theives!
