This is delicious. If I could steal their cook to be my personal chef, boy I would! The stunning flavor cooked into the meat is mouth watering. I still thank my friend every day for showing me this spot. What a delight!

Excellent food, each dish well prepared. From the juicy smoked bbq ribs, to the creamy mac and cheese, deliciously caramelized candied yams and toasty cornbread. Clean and simple place. Caring staff. Try the sweet Flip-Flop drink (iced tea/lemonade combo). Large portions! Two can share the lunch special.

Ignore all the bad reviews,this place is unique and special why? Because there is no other place that can stay in operation for this long doing this kind of southern food in Miami.The food is always consistent always season and good the whole menu including the desserts. And i almost forgot try the flip flop for those who dont know what that is ice tea and lemonade

If you are looking for BBQ in miami do NOT go to people bbq. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Extremely disorganized and dirty. No service to rate since it took us a half hour to even give our order

Amazing food- the sauce was out of this world. The warm corn bread was fantastic. The ribs, chicken and beef were all fantastic. The place is local, low key and the service is friendly. For the price you can not beat it.

You can travel all over Miami and never find barbeque like this. Two thumbs up!!! The ribs, souse, sweet potato pie are better than grandma made (if she even made them!)
Anything you order is great, they simply don't know hoe to make bad food! You'll keep comin' back for more-guaranteed~

I feel the ribs and sides here are great...Ive been a customers for years!
Word of advice: Don't let your ribs get cold. Eat it while it's hot and order a extra slice of sweet potato pie! The service is normally pretty fast providing you don't go there on the weekend! The line can get very long! But worth the wait! I prefer take out service since the location can swing undesirable at any time! Bon appetite!

Can't say enough good things about People's. The food, service & attitude is A+. No matter what you order you can be guaranteed that it will be great! I've never been disappointed. from mouth watering ribs to home-made potato salad to sweet potato pie to souse. You name it, it's super yummie. Don't be shy. Get yourself over to People's and eat like you've never eaten before. You'll get the best food in Miami served by some of the best waitresses in town at the best prices. It even smells great. And they're open very late on the weekends. Come and eat some real food.

SIMPLY THE BEST BARBEQUE IN MIAMI...NOBODY DOES IT BETTER. EVERYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF THIS KITCHEN IS DE-LICIOUS. I ALWAYS LOVED THE OLD LOCATION (REAL HOMEY) BUT AFTER SEVERAL YEARS AT THIS LOCATION, I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. THE MEAT FALLS OFF THE BONE! DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE POTATO SALAD OR THE SOUSE. YUM-YUM......THIS IS WHAT GOOD FOOD IS ALL ABOUT!

This was by far the best home-cooked meal that I have had at a restaurant. Everything on the menu was excellent!...(especially the best corn muffins and collard greens.) It was so good that we went back for dinner again the very next day. .....Plus it was dirt cheap!! Dinner for 5 for $45 bucks!!!...and it was less than a 10 minute drive from South Beach.
