My husband and I stayed here last 4th of July. We had a WONDERFUL time! The hotel is right in the heart of downtown Delray, so there's tons of stuff to do in walking distance. The breakfast in the lobby was delicious and the beach club was teriffic. We did have to drive to the beach, but it was a short drive and they have a bus in season. It's a great hotel for a quick getaway.

The Colony is a beautiful historic hotel right in downtown Delray Beach. The rooms are completed renovated, but retain their charm. The street life is fun and exciting and right outside the quiet lobby. Live music on the patio is offered many weekend nights--a great place to mingle with the locals!
The hotel shuttles guests to their own beautifully appointed private beach club with a cabana grill.
PROS: great downtown location and private beach
