After a long day of shopping there is nothing like a good hot meal right? FINALLY, I found that at Puccini and Pasta in Dadeland Mall. I absolutely love this place. The food is divine. The owners who are regularly onsite run a tight ship. Their waiters are top notch and it is evident that great service and superb food is important to them. Whether you are in the mood for a salad, pasta, pizza or a nice entree - they have it. It is also a wonderful place to have a drink and some appetizers after work. Their curbside take out service is also great! While others might wait those long lines and be treated like just another number at Cheesecake, I much rather be treated like family at Puccini and enjoy their secret family recipes. Give their chocolate souffle a try - it is absolutely sinful! you know what time it is! It's time to go to Puccini...

Pros: divine food and service, quick service

Cons: there aren't more around town

I took my family for a quick dinner. It was our first time in the restaurant and our last. The service was terrible. The waiter was very rude as he did not make us feel welcome at all. It was more like "I'm tired and I don't want to take care of you" attitude. I ordered the Mozzarella Caprese as an appetizer and I never received it. My wife order the Chicken Marsala. Now, everyone that knows a little about cooking or have been in different Italian restaurant knows that Chicken Marsala is not served with Marinara Bow ties. It defeats the purpose of the Marsala souce. I ordered the "Scallopini Monte Carlo" with Penne Pasta. Guess what I got? Exactly, Scallopini Monte Carlo with Marinara Bow Ties. OK, at this time I asked myself, who in the world is the chef in this kitchen? We didn't feel comfortable ordering dessert, actually, we just didn't want to be in the restaurant anymore, so I asked for the check. So the waiter comes with my check and the first thing that I noticed was... They were charging for the Mozzarella Caprese that we never got. The waiter didn't even apologize for not bringing it, nothing. For him it was like "I don't care, just pay me a leave". But he did take it off. Again, this was our first time and last visit to this restaurant.
