Family Owned and Operated in Sarasota for the last 43 years and previously in Ann Arbor Michigan for 18 years, we welcome you to visit our Special and Unique shop for your fashionable and stylish, yet very affordable shoes and handbags. (As of this update -May 13, 2008-none of our sandals is over $100..actually the most expensive is currently $95). We own and operate this business so we do not have the high cost of rent our other neighbors have in this shopping district so we can offer you great products at affordale prices by passing our savings on to you. If you knew me, you'd know how funny it is that I'd be reviewing a handbag and shoe store. But even I was impressed and pleased with the selection at Carman's on St. Armand's Circle. Many of the handbags are hand-painted and unique; some are even signed by the artist. Shoes range from casual sandals to elegant stilettos. If you like shoes and/or handbags, you really must come to Carman's!
