BEWARE!. If you have been solicited or an ex member that does not want to rejoin, they will falsely accuse you to the credit bureaus to ruin your credit. My wife and I experienced: The last contract we signed expired on 06/26/2004. Late 2004 or early 2005, we arrived at the gym to find the doors locked. The gym was sold and moved. Sometime in 2006, we received a call from TBT soliciting business from us. We said we were not interested as we joined another gym. That person got very angry. We did not hear anything again until I checked my credit report in Oct 2007. They had falsely accused us of signing up with them in July 2007, and delinquent. We had no idea where they were, nor have we ever set foot in the new owner??s gym. In order to protect unsuspecting consumers like us, we have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, filed a report on ripoffreport.com and are in the process of filing a lawsuit for damages.
