LIke below states, they have long closed, back in 2004 I believe. This is one of the undertakings of Chef Al. He and his wife took it over at night and really would have brought it back to it's hay day if it were not for hurricanes.
I remember their Paella, better than before, the CHicken Alfredo Special was to die for! They told me and my husband one night that they were planning to host one of the old style Paella Parties for their 6 month anniversary, but thanks to Hurricane Charley and the others, that would never be. He is now out in Spring Lake, but no one knows for how long as he is just a mere employee there.

This establishment is now closed.. but what once was...
It had changed owners several times, but they finally had a winner in 2004 and then closed their doors for good.
It was open just for breakfast.. then a young couple rented it at night and brought back the menue and several wonderful new editions. Prior to the hurricanes hitting us they dissapeared, apparent problems with the morning person they rented from.
When they were running it at night... they had such delectable food, perfect portion size, wonderful flavor and presentation.. and a value for your money. It was so nice to have people in there who knew what they were doing and what customers really want. They had daily specials and ran different discounts and suprise feebies from time to time.
All I know about the couple is that they are from Sebring, a man and his wife, they both were chefs and she also ran the front and took care of the business side of things. I truly hope that they find a place to rent or buy where they can share their love of food and scrumptios food with our county again.
PROS: Serivce, presentation, price, flavor, location.
CONS: they closed and shouldn't have.

Buen Apetito is a case of not being able to read a book by its cover. This restaurant is in a strip center with stores that carry cheap, discounted merchandise; however, Buen Apetito is a fabulous surprise. The food is scrumptious and the service is excellent.
