We went to SeaWorld Orlando just last week (July 2008). We also went to Disney World. Disney World isn't so hot, you feel a cool breeze as you walk through the park and you can never tell where it's coming from. SeaWorld is HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!!!!! Then, the park was overcrowded. Just to take a picture with a statue you had to stand in line. We got to see the Shamu "Believe" show which was so cheezy. I think Gulf World does a better job presenting their animals for less than half the price of SeaWorld. However, we didn't get to see any other shows since the other stadiums are much smaller than the Shamu stadium. By the time we got to the other side of the park to see other shows there would be a chain up saying the show was filled to capacity. I left feeling like I should've flushed my $276.70 for 2 adults and 2 children right down the toilet. Maybe I just should'nt have gone during peak season! I do know that I will never waste another dime on anything SeaWorld!!

Pros: You get to see a Killer Whale do tricks

Cons: You over pay to see a Killer Whale do tricks

We elected to do the mammal training experience in addition to the regular Seaworld experience, and truly had the best time of our lives to date! Seaworld offers a huge variety of marine mammals (dolphins, sharks, seals, manatees, whales, etc.) and also puts on great informative and very fun presentations. We ended up going to the shows multiple times, as each time is slightly different. Although Seaworld is somewhat expensive, the cost is well worth the experience...we will definitely be returning to Seaworld on our next vacation and highly recommend it!

PROS: Tons to see and do
CONS: None

If you love anything about the ocean or animals this is the place to go. It has a little of everything for everyone. My favorite of course is the penguins...plus it's ice cold in there. But there shows are fantastic and the animals are simply amazing in these shows. Plus there trainers are good too! There food is excellant, and lots of shops even including a homemade candyshop!

PROS: Something for everyone
CONS: Not much shade, in the summer months so dress comfortably

Here is a park where the whole family can have fun and learn something too. We have annual passes and enjoy ourselves immensely each and every time we go. Our favorite is the Shamu show, feeding the dolphins and visiting the penguins and polar bears. The grounds are amazing and landscaping is very attractive throughout the entire park. Their new Waterfront area offers a nice array of shops and restaurants. The kids play area (Shamu's Happy Harbor) is a wonderful area for them to let out some energy and cool off in the sprinklers and water attractions. Adults will love the free beer tastings at the Hospitality House. There is something for everyone at this park, highly recommended.

I have never loved something as much as I loved this park. This park was the most amazing park I have ever been to in all my life. I enjoyed every minute of it. Every animal in there had more character than most human beings I've met.I enjoyed myself very much and I will never forget it. Especially not shamu.

We went in April this year and had a blast. We could have spent our entire vacation at this place!! SeaWorld wasn't crowded, there were a LOT of people there, but the attractions are well spaced so you don't really notice. The admission is pricy, but the food and souveniers are reasonable. The animals looked great and the rides were awesome. I had my niece and nephew (both 5) with me and they LOVED Atlantis! The best part were the animal shows though! Especially the Shamu shows! The kids and adults both had a wonderful time and we'll definitly be going back next year!! Wish I lived in the area, I would be there everyday and probably get a job there!!

My family and I love this place. Those shows are amusing. They are really good with the animals. The food is good as well. The prices weren't bad at all. I know last year when you bought a ticket you got another one free to use in the next 7days so we were able to go two days in a row.

PROS:
CONS: Don't care for the fact that they sell beer.

There are all kinds of theme parks, but this is one of the quietest. No blaring music. Often, no crowds. Fish are quiet, after all. The dolphins are great here. So are the killer whales. The shows are fun. You can hand-feed stingrays. There are roller coasters if you want to do more than watching fish in action. Even the food is reasonably good. What's not to like?

PROS: Quiet theme park
CONS: If it rains, the fun is dampened.

Sea World Florida almost seems to be the forgotten park. The park offers a more laid back approach which its competitors don't or can't offer. The park is flooded in flora and fauna, adding a ambience to the park that is tastefully done, typical of a Busch theme park, its a green-thumb's paradise. Love the animal exhibits and shows. For rides, SeaWorld is still far behind its local competitors. Journey to Atlantis is a good flume/coaster ride, with a little surprise in it. The floor-less Kraken just might be the best rollercoaster in Orlando and Florida. You do get some good G's and a few weightless moments, and since the lines are shorter, it's not unusual that one can ride more than 5x's a visit! The park caters more towards families, like most zoos, but it does need more thrill rides to compete against it's competitors.

Almost all of the good attractions were closed. The Shamu whale show was very disapointing itself. Even though I was sitting in the wet zone, I didn't get wet. There wasn't alot of food to eat. What I saw on t.v and in brouchures about Sea World were totally different from what I really saw in the park. I will never waste my money or time going to Sea World ever in my life.

Sea World is a GREAT place for family fun. There are loads of friendly & helpful staff available throughout the park, fabulous shows, fun educational exhibits and the park is extremely clean.
Take a few drinks with you as the concession stands offer sodas, water & juices, but they are a bit expensive. I also thought that it was a little expensive to feed the dolphins & otters ($5 buys a tiny tray with a few fish & as kids love feeding them, it becomes expensive).
The kids & I ADORED Sea World ... what's not to like with Shamu, dolphins, turtles, etc?
GO, have fun, but take a few drinks with you !!
