I highly recommend spending a day at this zoo. I always take any of my family that come to Jacksonville for a visit to the zoo and they are always very happy with the experience. They have such a large every changing assortment of animals. It's always very clean and a great experience.

This zoo has made big improvements since I was little. It is kept very clean and the animal exhibits are great. My 2 year old son has a ball. We have passes & the prices are very reasonable. They have a great picnic area outside of the zoo. My mom & I love to have a picnic lunch before going inside. The ant eater is the family favorite.

This zoo has really come a long way. In the last 10 years it seems like it has doubled in size and is on it's way to being a world class zoo. They just added an animal carousel. Instead of horses there are all different zoo animals represented. My kids loved it. The jaguar exhibit is wonderful. There a 4 jaguars and you can get up close to them. The new giraffe exhibit is great too. They giraffes can come right up to you. There is also a train ride and air conditioned restaurants to stop for a bite to eat.
