A good store. A small business in a sea of big chain stores. Good selection of quality cat food and supplies. The owner is a good guy, the store has a couple of rescue cats living there. Not all the staff is friendly or knowledgeable.Prices are a bit too high, that's why I prefer Mary's pound. A lot of people complain about parking, but that's not the store's fault and I always found a parking spot sooner or later.

sorry but it doesn't even deserve one star. I can deal with little to no parking, dirty store, but lack of up to date supplies and terrible rude behavior of the owner is unforgivable as far as I'm concerned. Asked questions about nutrition

No parking, dirty and not much stock of quality dog foods. Asked about grain and white potato free foods and was told that grain and white potato were fine for dogs despite the fact that the dog food review site they recommend says the opposite. Owner went off about "fad" diets and after a bit I was so disgusted with his attitude and lack of nutritional knowledge I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Don't know how they stay in dog food business just parroting same nonsense the box stores parrot. Grain is NOT a food for carnivores. What he calls a "fad" diet is actually the latest advancement in dog nutrition that has no grain or white potato but he still living in the dark ages apparently. Sad for dogs that rely on his recommendations.

What an awful experience. Stopped in to see what they had and found opinionated, uninformed owner who pretended to know something about nutrition but his knowledge was antiquated and stuff I could have heard at Pet Smart. I've studied dog nutrition for years and am surprised someone who owns a dog food store doesn't put more effort into learning about proper nutrition. Dogs have been carnivores for 5 million years and he thinks they should eat grain and other junk because he carries it I suppose. Not much stock of the higher end foods anyway but could have lived without the negative experience for sure.

Animal House is a nice enough store-however, it has it's drawbacks-ridiculous parking-high prices-and Michael, the owner, can be a bit of a jerk. In addition, the staff is not that knowledgeable of pet products nor pets. They will pretend they are-but since none of them have any background dealing with animals prior to Animal House-they just kind of "wing-It"-which to me, is UNACCEPTABLE. As an informed pet owner, whose pets are her babies, I would advise customers to be careful when taking advise from staff at this store. However, they do carry some wonderful products and as long as you know what you want/need-it's not the worst place in town.

Another pet supply that sells higher end dog food, not the cheap crap from the supermarket. Lots of treats, leashes, collars, beds and supplements. In a very busy little shopping center, where you may have to park not so close to the store, but not a terrible walk either. Traffic getting there can be a bear, but hey, where isn't anymore?
