We were traveling along Florida's Panhandle for vacation and happened up on a little town called Port St. Joe. Being hat it was nearly dinner time we stopped in town and asked were the best place around. Tthey told us a couple cheap places like Hungry Howies and no-no we said good places. Oh, you have to go to Loggerhead Grill out on the Cape then.

It was a little bit for a trip, maybe 12 minutes but worth it. The place was packed. The parking lot across the street was packed, so it was on the side of the road for us.

When we finally got in the Sangria at the bar was great. Fresh batch today the hostess said. The have beer and wine but the Sangria was something a little different. The servers were to busy to wait on us up front of the restaurant so the hostess was kind enough to give us some menus and place an appetizer order for us. We ordered the Diver Scallops and Lobster cakes. Scallops were so tender, so juicy and flavorful that I thought we were in one of our favorite spots in Atlanta not in the middle of nowhere.

When we get to the table the place is humming. The guests are all buzzing about what a good time they are having. One table is having a birthday and the whole room starts singing to them. It feels like this place is like Cheers-where everyone knows you name.

The food is great, my Lobster Pealla is unexpectingly presented we the Lobster head. My wife is enjoying her Steak, a Churrasco-something I never heard about before. Really tender and juicy. We loved it.

This is a place where you have to try the desserts.

This is the place you don't want to miss while in town!!!
