In ShortAdmittedly kitschy, unavoidably noisy, this Red Lobster for rug rats is like an oversized seaside shanty awash in oceanic memorabilia--fishing nets, souvenir trinkets, plastic flotsam and jetsam. Staffed with a lively crew of G-rated table-dancing servers, the family-friendly chain anchors its menu in all things crab: Crab balls, crab cakes, crab dip, crab gumbo. Finicky children opt for corndogs or hamburgers; shellfish-phobic adults dine on rib eye steak or mesquite-grilled chicken.

table location poor with cold air & smoke filtering in from outside, steak tough not medium well as ordered, tasteless food, appetizer of clam chowder was not any better than a can of store-bought soup, twice-baked potato tasted twice or thrice frozen (yuck), no birthday celebration at table, loud music took our waiter away from serving while he danced, we left depressed when I was ready for a fun time

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOE'S CRAB SHACK RESTAURANT. IT IS ONE OF THE BEST IN ORLANDO, AND COMING FROM MIAMI, I CAN SURE SAY THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST!!! IT'S A FUN PLACE TO EAT & THE FOOD IS GREAT! SORRY THAT OTHER CUSTOMER HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS RESTAURANT, BUT APPARENTLY HE WASN'T HAVING A GOOD DAY :O(

I think the food is very good, but the playground is the BOMB for me! It is great to be able to have a nice meal and the children can play and have a great time too!

I had my first crab experience there and I will never forget it!! The service was great, the atmosphere was great and the FOOD was great. I will definitely go back the next time I fo to Florida.

Watch out!! If that great white shark dangling from the cieling doesn't get your attention, the great food will! There's a terrific environment, which is only accentuated by the choreographed dances that you'll see throughout the evening. This is a place to go to hang out and have a delicious meal served by an always-attentive staff. Kids will love looking at all the decor on the cieling and walls, too! Make sure you read the t-shirts of those working at Joe's, both the front and back... and listen for when Elvis has left the building...
