I visited Peninsular Christian 3/4/07. In my opinion, whether you are a long time Christian, or just searching for truth, this church would have something for you. The minister gave an excellent sermon: scripturally based, insightful, with humor woven into wisdom. I left challenged and inspired to be more like Jesus. I saw cheerful, friendly people of all ages, which speaks very well of a church. There were a lot of young people who looked to be in high school. There was a brief, poignant testimony by a new member who had attended the men??s retreat, and shared how joining this church had a powerful, wonderful impact on his life. This church seems to be about transforming lives with the light of Christ. I would highly recommend including this church on your visiting list for a potential church home. I will certainly return.

From the moment you walk in the doors of this small, friendly south Tampa church, you will feel like family. The worship service is a combination of traditional and contemporary. There is a nursery and children's church available, both very well staffed. Many programs are available including small group studies just about every night of the week, a thriving and fun over 50 club ~ Young at Heart ~ that meets for lunch and entertainment once a month, and an awesome and growing youth group, just to name a few things.
Check out their website at www.pcctampa.com for more information. I love this church!

PROS: small, family friendly church

when i first moved here i was looking for a church, my kids were seated with me and right before church started my kids were told they were not allowed there they had to go to the childrens church, my kids knew anyone, they also put you on the spot, they came right up to me durrning service wanted me to say a few words, now some people can do that but they keep hounding me. as big of a church it has very limited parking and the light was one light in the whole parking lot.
