I have been shopping at this store for many years and have always gotten great service, awesome embroidery work, and excellent products!

.

So.I live in South Beach, this store is in North Miami... the drive is about 45 mins. I called at 5pm, and asked at what time the store closed; they told me at 6pm SHARP... I knew I could make it, and I really needed work pants. I told them I was on my way, and they said that if I was there one minute after 6pm, I was not going to be able to get anything. I agreed, etc.

When I was about 10 mins away, I call and said I was 10 mins away. They reminded me that if I was there one minute after 6, I was not going to be able to get anything.

It didn't take me 10 mins, it took me 15 mins, and I was parking in front of the store at 5:50. The window shutters were down, the lights were turned off, and the shutter of the front door was not down. I get out, try to look inside the window, and everything was turned off. It was 5:52.

I called the store about twice, and nobody answered. At 5:54pm they answered, and they tell me that they are close... I reminded them of what they have said before, about the 6pm SHARP, and that they are not honoring what they said...

Finally at 5:56 they opened the door.

There were two people in the store: 1) An African-American lady in about her twenties with a red uniform shirt and braid extensions, who was an employee; and 2) a male with grayish hair, not have had a shave in about a couple of weeks, in shorts and a shirt, who was the employeer, or manager, or supervisor.

I say: I just need 3 black pants, size 32, so the employee gives me the pants, and rushes me towards the cashier. I see that the waist is very small, and I mentioned it. The guy tells me that Dickie's sizes tend to be smaller, so I ask for a 34... the lady gives me blue pants that are 34, and they still look small to me (I had also gained a few extra pounds) So I asked for a size 36, but I was amazed about even thinking about a 36... I have never worn a 36! (This whole transaction happened in less than 2 minutes)...

So I asked to try on 1 of the 3 pants that I was going to get, and the guy said NO YOU CANT. I said that I had never worn a 36, and it was a long trip from where I live. The lady says: "If they don't fit you can always come back and return them" I said, well, I work about 6 days a week, etc... I can just try them in less than a minute... the guy tells me that the alarm is going to go off at 6pm, and it is programed from I-don't-know-where... I asked him: "But you are who programs the alarm" He said "yes"... and I tell him "Hey man, in the time that we have wasted arguing, I could have tried on the pants, paid, and be out of here, we wouldnt be here right now".... and he replies to that.... 'OK MAN, WHAT THE F#CK DO YOU WANT!?"

Filled with frustration, even fear, I didn't know what to do... the immediate thought was I need to call the cops, I am not safe here... frustration arises... anger... and I trow the pants on the counter and say "I am not buying sh&t from you".... yes I admit it, I used an inappropriate word... what can we do?

I asked him "Is this the way you treat your costumers" he tells me "The door is right there!" and points to the door. I look at him for a couple of seconds and yells at me "Get the f#ck out of here!" I walk out, told him that I was going to report him, as I am about to get out, I asked him for his name, and he only replied "OUT!" I crossed the door, and a he is slamming the door behind me, I turned around, and see through the glass door that he is giving me the finger and see his lips saying a big "F#CK YOU!".....

At that moment, I am just completely insulted... filled with frustration and anger... I googled in my blackberry Dickie's customer service, get to a representative, start talking to a representative, almost unable to speak out of the frustration and humiliation. As I am talking to the representative, the 2 people walk out of the store, get into their cars

I get inside of the car, trying to calm down to place my complaint. Spend about 30 or 45 mins with the Dickie's representative, and she tells me that she knows at what store I am at, etc... she promises that she is going to investigate the issue, and get back to me with a solution for the bad time I had.

Well, she came back to me via email, saying "I am sorry to hear about the bad customer service experience you had with one of the retail stores that carries Dickies. Unfortunately, this was not a Dickies owned retail store and we do not have control over their policies and procedures. " That was Miss Johnson's response... I don't want to write her name because is a lot less common than her last name...

The most disappointing of everything in a opinion, is Dickie's corporate negligence to the situation.

What a shame, and may God bless them
