I entered this UPS Store because it was the closest one to my home and right behind a branch of my bank. I had a package to mail to Georgia and had already registered, paid, and printed my shipping label online at UPS.com.
I figured it would be easier that way and I am glad that I did. There were 3 employees working on a weekday morning and 4 customers including me. I was not greeted upon entering the store, although I did walk right past an employee. That same employee decided to talk to me as she was walking back to the counter. She asked me if I was leaving the package. I told her it was a drop-off and she stated that I could just leave it on the counter. I told her that I needed a drop-off receipt and she became a little annoyed, telling me all that I needed was my tracking number.
I wanted a drop-off receipt for my records so I stated again that I wanted a drop-off receipt. She told me I would have to wait a few minutes then. I completely understand needing to wait behind the three customers already in the store, but the employee should not have just assumed that she would take my package to get rid of me and that would be it.
Also, the two other employees did not even bother to help the their fellow employee behind the counter. I cannot recommend this shop because UPS Store employees obviously have not been trained in accurate customer service. I can go to the post office to mail my package if I wanted to encounter disgruntled people.
They do have other services available, like packaging and mailbox services, similar to the USPS.
PROS: not crowded like the post office
CONS: employees not customer service trained, just want to get rid of you quickly
