When going to Coggin, I thought it would be like entering a Saturn dealership - normal, friendly, truthful.
I had an appointment to test drive one car and view a few others. When arriving, the one I'm scheduled for "must have sold." there were no others to see (?) even though the internet shows several as of this morning, still.
I now am baited to see one I wasn't really interested in because it was too-good-to be true.
When a car is priced too low, and low miles, it's a piece, and my car is not worth trading in for hassles.

I am eyed and handed off to several different people and I realize these must be closers.
They want my keys and I say No. I know they want to delay my leaving because they will be dissecting my car in back to determine a price. I know what my car is worth and their use of BLACK BOOK is what KBB would be fair trade, not good or excellent.
They want to crunch numbers and I ask why waste my time when I will take this car for my mechanic to check it out first.
They talk really loud, like chest thumping animals, and say why 'would we let just anyone take our cars out? What if you wreck it? They dont have enough insurance to cover' me. I stand up and thank them for saving me the trouble because I now know the car must be a piece.
I tell them I love my car, and I'm not desperate or stupid enough to listen to such BS. Denying me a look over means you sell junk and we both know it.

Suddenly, they can let me take the car to my mechanic. Suddenly, it doesnt matter if I wreck it, their insurance is ok.
I love Honda's but I detest the salesmen.
Coggin, your Internet guy is a moron and a bait & switch liar (he was the first jerk I met) and the others behave like piranhas.
You lost a customer in me, and I will still buy another Honda, just not from your urban jungle.

I bought a Honda Civic from Coggin and they processed my credit through C*** Bank at 7.49%, when Honda Motor Credit Finance offered 3.99%. I didn't realize it till I was reviewing my paperwork at home. I came back to the dealer and requested an explanation. They were nervous and said "you did not qualify through Honda". I asked them to show me the paperwork, which they could not provide. I requested if I could back out of the deal as I did not want to deal with people who lie/cheat. They said they would buy the car back as a trade @ $4000 less. I would request all of you to never do business with COGGIN HONDA...and please read the documents before you sign them...don't let them rush you.

I was trying to get a quote on a 08' Honda Civic as I was looking to trade in my 01 Honda Civic. The sales representative would not take a $1 off the sticker and added $1345 extra, cause the car came with dealer installed mud guards and stickers Total ($19,670). In addition he gave me a quote on my trade of $2800, when on KBB trade-in was $6060. When I wanted to leave, he would not let em leave. He said "I have spent an hour talking to you...and you just can't leave". I should have walked out...but I was taken back. I was forced into buying the car @ $19,750, because he made a mistake on the paperwork and instead or writing the paperwork for $19,670, he wrote it for $19,750. I would not suggest anyone doing business with COGGIN HONDA. These people are a bunch or thieves.

I went to this dealership when I was in the market for a new Honda Accord. I always shop around and don't go in without knowledge of a good price. The salesman insisted on working up a cost even before I test drove the car. Anyway, when he finally quoted me an inflated price I told him I had already been to several other dealerships and could do much better elsewhere. I even showed him the quote from Duval Honda and he told me there was no way they could match that price. He said he didn't believe me and that is you could buy the car for that price he would go buy 10 of them. I promptly went back over to Duval Honda and bought the car for that price. I resisted the temptation to go back to Coggin with my sales invoice! Do not recommend this dealership.
