Located on the North bank of Julington Creek in Mandarin, FL. View is well worth the visit. Bring a big appetite as the portions are large! Price is fair, service is good, food is good. Family owned and operated since early 1970's. A favorite local's place, it's well known as a MUST visit when in town. Very rustic and natural setting. A true Florida "fishcamp" experience.

Pros: Atmosphere, Bar, Lunch and Dinner menu.

Cons: Parking is limited, 1 hour wait to be seated when busy.

This is a great restaurant to bring out of town visitors. It's situated on the river and usually has a few alligators hanging around the dock. There's lots for the kids to look at while waiting, which you'll need to do most nights as this place is quite popular. My son loves the gator tail and there's something for everyone here.

What was once a bait and tackle shop is now an ode to exotic fare: ostrich, kangaroo, antelope, buffalo, venison, rabbit, quail and gator tails are some of the unusual finds on the full-service menu. If you aren't accustomed to such…
