I met my husband and some friends at Acropolis in Ybor after work this week. We probably would have stayed, drank and ate more had we been able to use our own debit/credit card to pay our share of the bill. We had to scrounge and borrow cash so one party would not get stuck paying the entire bill on their card! We won't go back.

I was in Tampa for a convention and a bunch of us hopped a shuttle to check out Ybor. Amid all the Latin clubs, we happened on the Acropolis. We'd gone to Ybor expecting to have a Cuban meal, but stopped here instead. We were glad we did - good food in a great atmosphere. The three of us had the spanikopita/ Greek salad combo and my friends had shrimp added to their salads for a couple bucks. We had some killer Greek coffee, and the mandatory baklava. We ended up club hopping til the wee hours, so were glad we started our evening with a good meal.

The best greek food around, even better than Tarpon Springs. On friday, sat and sunday they have a belly dancer who really gets into it and brings the audience along
