I had an accident on the day before Thanksgiving, 2013. I was very distraught due to the crash, so when asked which towing service I would like to use, I could not think of any one except for Maurice's, even though our whole family has had nothing but horrific experiences with them in the years past. It was foolish on my part, but I could not think straight at the time. They fixed the right front end of my car, but when we went to pick it up, my husband (yes, my husband) had to be the one to notice the HUGE GASH in my rear bumper that had also been caused during the wreck!! Nick and Katie, who were in charge of our case, completely missed it! WTH??!! Isn't this their line of business??!! They totally overlooked that part of the damage!! So, both, Nick ad Katie assured us that a new bumper would be ordered, and installed ASAP!! That was the day before Thanksgiving, 2013! Today is Feb. 21, 2014, and STILL NO BUMPER!! My husband called both of them on a regular basis, and got nothing but lies, excuses, and (laughing) apologies from them!! We were livid!! They promised us that the bumper would be put on ASAP, but obviously that NEVER happened!! Once when my husband was on the phone with Katie, she put him on HOLD for more than 10 minutes!! He got tired of waiting for her to return, so he hung up, and tried to call her back. That's when he was told that Katie had already left work for the day!! Are you kidding me??!! You talk about unprofessionalism!! The next time he spoke with her, she told him that the bumper was in, and ready to be installed, so we dropped our car off, and was told we could pick it up the next morning, but SURPRISE, SURPRISE!! They had ordered the WRONG bumper!! We had to pick our car up again, and STILL NO BUMPER!! We were furious!! More lies, half-hearted apologies, and empty excuses!! Who doesn't know that you have to use the make and model of a car in order to obtain the correct body part for the repair??!! UNBELIEVABLE!! So, now 3 months have gone by, and my car still does not have a repaired bumper!! It's no wonder our friends call them "BUNGEE MAURICE'S"!! You get nothing but the run-around, flat-out lies, empty promises, fake apologies, half-hearted excuses, aggravation to the moon and back, inconvenience like you've never known, unprofessionalism to the hilt, anxiety and stress!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME OR YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!! STEER CLEAR OF MAURICE'S!! BEWARE!! TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!

Maurice advocated for me with my extended warranty company and due to his and his people's persistence they finally came through. They performed the required tests and assessments thrice over making it so the warranty company could no longer deny the claim. I have since recommended two other individuals to Maurice's with different needs but with similar satisfaction. I will take my vehicles nowhere else now. Highly recommended. Thank you, Maurice.

I had maurices's replace my transmission they charged me 2,000.00 and I ended up bringing it back 8 times all for problmes with the transmission the 9th time I brought it back they told me I needed to REPLACE my transmission, but said I was so lucky and would get a discount and they would only charge me 1,300.00 this time!!! After explaining for a very long time one of the men there how this was not ok, he finally went to Maurice to try and get him to agree to replace it for free which they ended up doing only for me to just have problems with my transmission!! So I took it somewhere else who told me my TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED!! So Maurices told me to bring it back in I gave up and said SCREW MAURICES DID MORE DAMAGE AND NO FIXING NOW IM OUT THAT 2,000.00 BECAUSE THEY WON'T GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. So paid 1,500 for another place to fix it and have had no problems at all!!! IF I WAS MAURICES I WOULD REALLY FEEL BAD AND WANT TO HELP A CUSTOMER I SCREWD LIKE THAT BUT THEY DIDN'T NOR DO THEY CARE SO THIS PLACE SUCK WORST BUISNESS I HAVE EVER DELT WITH EVER!! (and when I got it fixed the first time I was missing a mother daughter gold neckless, complained to them a few times said nobody took it and i lost it, only to have them call me later and say oh ya we do have it!!! why are you even taking stuff out of my car in the first place)

I was in a recent car accident and my door was smashed. I called Maurice's and they had wonderful customer service, and helped me through the insurance process along with the car rental. Throughout the process they communicated and kept me informed with my car's status updates. I picked it up today and WOW does it look great. I was a little nervous because it was a brand new vehicle, but it honestly looks amazing. The quality of the paint job is perfect. I highly recommend Maurice's Auto Body for any kind of paint of body repairs.

I just had New Tires put on my Mercedes Benz 2006 SLK they beat the prices of all other dealers by 300 dollars. Awesome. Also have a 2006 ML 350 serviced and repainted my roof for damage my garage door did during a hurricane. The paint was blended and you would not be able to tell the difference from anyother Body Part. My 2001 Eclipse has had numerous paint and body work done from Nick again Perfect match to Pearl White Metallic Paint. My timing belts were perfect and 200 dollars cheaper than Mitsubishi wanted. My Acura RL service is cheaper by 150 from dealer costs. And is certified and backed up by they warantee and dosn't effect my manufacturer warrantee. I trust them with all my Luxury Motor Vehicles!!!

Maurice's is good as far as towing cars but when it comes to repairing cars it seems his mechanics or technician are gold, because he sure does charge a lot of money, but in fairness he does stand behind his work.

After moving to Lakeland in 1998, I founf myself in need of work on my alternator in my 1992 Firebird. I went to what was suggested to me as a fair and reputable service station for this repair. The big plus was it was within walking distance of my home, at Beacon and S. Florida Ave, and they could do it that day. The work was completed as promised, but when the problem resurfaced six months later, the shop that did the work and my warranty had evaporated. Figures.

Someone suggested Maurice's off Dranefield Rd, so I grudgingly called, and they sent out a wrecker within the hour and were on their way back to the shop with my beloved 'bird. The car was ready that evening, and although I was a little put-off by the bill, I was relieved when they pointed out that the previous replacement alternator was insufficient for Florida conditions, and that I now had the proper alternator with a full warranty on parts and labor for a year. Well, I thought I had that last time too, and for about $90 less.

As fate would have it, the alternator failed again 4 months later, and it was back at Maurice's. The service manager scratched his head, and went about replacing it right away. No charge for parts, labor ot towing. The extra I spent was well worth it. Strangely enough, the alternator failed again about three months later. Another call brought the wrecker and a trip to the shop. Now the owner got involved, and called to ask me if I minded leaving the car for a few days for diagnosis. He couldn't understand what was happening to his alternators, and wanded to look into things closer.

Three days later, he called to let me know that I could pick up the vehicle the next morning, and that there was no charge.

Whatever he found out worked, because that alternator is still in the car to this day, and I found a place that I can trust to do the right thing with me family and our vehicles.

Maurice's may not always be the cheapest place in town for repairs, but they have always dealt fair and honest with me, and continue to have my business.

i brought my vehicle into Maurice's for repairs they wanted to charge over 1500.00 dollars. I got a second opinion from a dealer and it cost me 100.00 dollars. Make sure you look around before you use this mechanic.
