This was a good restaurant with an awesome and excellent location. The food was fine. The service was fine. The view and scenery were the best. We loved eating on the beach.

This is a typical beach hot-spot designed to draw the old spring break crowd before they were run outta town. It's loud music and party atmosphere does not sit unnoticed though even without the original target clientelle. There's still plenty of young adults cruising to pick up other vacationing young folks so Margarita Cafe still does a pretty brisk business in season.

Service is sketchy and not always friendly and they also have some way-high prices and in this case, they really aren't warrented given the food

I'm going with 3 stars for this one simply because there are many places I prefer along the Barrier Island that are also more reasonably priced... but I am also saying that the food is pretty good here, so you make the call.

PROS: Party atmosphere, great ocean view
CONS: High priced, sketchy service
