In my positions, 1985 ?? 2007, at the Utilities Commission, City of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, I performed many duties. Such activities included but are not limited to: labor relations; supervisor training; mediation of conflict resolution; strategic planning; succession planning; meet and deal effectively with the public and employees; answer questions/research inquiries and provide a verbal or written response as needed; data entry; well organized; good time management; able to multi-task; work independently without constant supervision; good soft skills; make minor decisions using sound judgment as directed by supervisor; assist in maintaining calendar and scheduling appointments; manage incoming and outgoing correspondences; review incoming mail and compose responses; participated in and approved submissions from departments containing employee marriages, births, deaths, and approved draft for publication in the employee monthly newsletter; assist in providing database retrieval information for inside and outside constituents for mailings, meetings, events, and research; prepared for management the annual budget; prepare budget reports, as necessary; assist with the planning, coordination, staffing of employees and skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Publisher.

In the position of Payroll/ Benefits Administrator I performed many duties including benefits orientation, billing of invoices, communications with outside customers and research to improve upon benefits, & printed and issued bi-weekly payroll checks for the company.
