Terrrible service. I wanted to ship a printer couldn't managet myself because I was recovering from rotator cuff surgery The printer weighed 65 lbs. The rep said it was too heavy and needed to be crated. It came to me in a cardboard box with styrofoam inserts so I knew that wasn't true. I had done a lot of business with the former owner and he had shipped things bigger than that for me and he had always done a good job. I did not reliaze that indeed I was talking to the new owner until after the fact. I was told me to come back later. I called her when I got home and suggested that if the rep was worried about it to pack it in one box and then put it in another box with more packing and that would take care of it. When I arrived it was in a box that wasn't much larger than the printer itself, not nearly as large as the box it originally came in. It was sitting on top of another smaller box amateurishly attached with straps so it was at least ungainly and probably did not have nearly enough packing. I was between a rock and a hard place and then she made me sign a discalimer saying it wasn't packed according to reccomendations so I couldn't ask for a an insurance refund from UPS. The upshot was that it did indeed arrive cracked and damaged. I am going to have to reimburse the proceeds of the sale and the shipping I charged so I am out around 175.00. I can buy that this rep may have had resetvations but all the more reason to do an extra good job with the packing and charge me accordingly. As it was I was charged an exhorbitant amount for an amateurishly poor packing job. If I had been allowed to stay I could have protested when I saw the way the packing was being done and insisted it be done differently. Since it was done I either had to accept it and let it ship or pay for a bad job and then have to go somewhere else and start all over.
Run don't walk to the nearest exit and hang on to your wallet and your item.

Pros: none

Cons: lost money, lost time, poor service, disingenuous treatment, cleverly unhelpful
