We were recommended Superior Design by the company that performed funeral svc for my mother. We met with office mgr & placed order in early Oct & promised a grave marker btw Thanksgiving & Christmas, however definitely by Christmas. There was an understanding that we needed the marker completed by Christmas as out of town family mbrs would be visiting. Thanksgiving came & went with no contact from SD & we made our 1st contact during the wk of Christmas to inquire the status. We were told that shipping of materials had been delayed so production of marker was delayed. We were told marker should be finished by New Years. New Years came & went & I went out to my mother's site - no marker. A family member called SD & was told it would be another 2 wks. Again, there was delay, not explained, but told another 2 wks & it would be installed. 2 wks went by & I was out at my mother's site - no marker. This time, I called & spoke with office mgr. She seemed rather unconcerned with my complaint. I asked what the holdup was, she stated marker would be installed in another 2 wks, I asked why we weren't contacted to which there was no response, then asked to be called if it was NOT completed in 2 wks, she said fine, was ready to hang up & did not even have my ph #. When she went to hang up, she stated would call me when it WAS installed, which is clearly not what I asked. I never received call from her to this day. I handed over to another family mbr b/c mentally, I could not take it. They had my money, I could not get refund & we were now into Feb. when I had been promised Dec at the latest. We finally got our marker but if you don't mind broken promises, lack of communication, all around poor cust svc, then this is your place. My mother's death was tragic but this aggravated the grieving process. I would expect a busn to call when there are delays, & regarding something so close to the heart, you would think a busn would be xtra sensitive, but I guess I thought wrong
