While over in Afghanistan for 8 months, there was nothing more that i was craving than a big juicy lobster. I heard about this place from a friend that lives in Tampa, so while on leave i decided to give it a try. I was in Tampa already visiting some family and i took them all to The Palm. I cant say one thing bad about the place, everything was wonderful, the food, the atmosphere, the service, everything.

The service, steaks, pasta, everything was more than i could ask for. Very wonderful experience highly recommended.

This is a great reastraunt to come with a large group. I came with my family and there were 8 of us. We did not have a reservation and it was durring the dinner rush so we figured we would have to wait a while. They got us right in however. The front dest was very helpful and nice. The service was wonderful and we all got our food in record time. I love the caracters on the wall. It makes it different from any other steak place. I would recomend to any one to come to the Palm. The Staff is great and very occomidating. We will deffinatly be back!!!

We dined here for the first time this evening and will return again in the near future. Our selections were delicious from start to finish and the portions were extremely generous.
Our server, Chris, was pleasant, friendly and attentive.
The atmosphere was cheerful and welcoming and the service was wonderful.
Truly a wonderful dining experience to remember.

I went here for my birthday after a friend recommended the restaurant. I was not at all impressed. It was way too loud and the food was mediocure. The service was friendly but acted too much like salesmen.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone who was looking for a quiet time, good food (that is inexpensive), and great service.

My husband and I took our family to The Palm, in Tampa, for Christmas dinner. There were 6 of us and we spent about $600.00. We have been to The Palm in other locations and have always been pleased. Unfortunatly this was not the case on Christmas Eve. We were seated in a high traffic area where my husband's chair was constantly being slammed by servers until the manager finally resolved the situation. The cocktails were weak, the appitezers bland and the entrees and desserts were of average quality. We were treated to kitchen help wheeling carts through the dinning room and carring cardboard boxes between dinners. Totally unacceptable for a resturant of this price range. We will never go back.

They've got it right when it comes to a cooking a great steak. High quality and cooked to perfect temperature. I entertain clients quite a bit, and this place really surpasses all the rest. I had never been to the Palm until last Tuesday. Great food and service. I will certainly be bringing my clients to the Palm from now on.

I don't know where to begin! The whole experience was incredible. From the warm welcome from the manager to the gigantic chocolate cake I had for dessert, it was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. We visited on a Saturday night, so it was a little loud, but had a fun, unique ambience about the place. The chef walked through the dining room with an enormous lobster, stopping by our table to show us. My husband and I shared the Surf and Turf special. The lobster literally melted in my mouth! This was our first visit and we are especially grateful that our neighbors suggested this fabulous restaurant. We loved it and will be sure to pass this on to our friends!

Dining on the patio is like eating in a parking lot. Food was average at well-above-average-prices. Melon in appetizer was hard and unsweet, chopped salad contained tomatoes with bad spots, onion cores and filet mignon was average. I'm sorry, but $30+ is too much to pay for a 10-oz piece of steak. Mark-up on basic cabernet sauvignon was more than 100%. Not good value.

The best steak in Tampa. Paul, our server was terrific. He made the evening perfect for our group. Not the traditional chain-type service that I have received in other steakhouses. We will certainly return to the Palm for our future gatherings.

The Palm is becoming the popular choice for business professionals. I previously took my clients to the restaurant next door but if you are wanting to impress your guests, try the Palm. It does tend to get a bit loud during the lunch hour but the food is excellent (try the crabcakes). Service is outstanding.

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday at the Palm last weekend. We celebrated along with 35 of our family and friends in a private room. We both work for pharmaceutical companies and have done events in the past with Fleming's and Shula's but I must say, "The Palm does it better". It could not have been more perfect. Unlike some of the other places we've dined, we had personal attention from the moment we walked in. The manager greeted us and made us feel welcome. Our waiters were very charming and right there when we needed them. The food did me in. My steak was perfect! The lobster was out of this world. I don't know why we hadn't been to the Palm sooner, but we will make up for it in the future!

Definitely the place to "see and be seen." Food was great. Kudos to the Management for making everyone feel special. The professional staff showed us that they were genuinely interested in developing a loyal local clientele. I plan to be included.
