A real tribute to envoirnmental preservation in South Florida. Gumbo Limbo has a lovely boardwalk through the mangroves and natural wooded areas. You can also expolre many type of diverse sea life. This is totally perfect for kids and would be a great way to spend the day. Many local elementary schools go here on field trips, so this is a perfect place to take your kids on a Saturday afternoon for some educational fun.

Gumbo Limbo is the best place in Palm Beach County to spend a day with kids learning about the ocean environment. Kids can view sea turtles and learn about their rescue program and hold live sea creatures in an outdoor touchtank. Bring a picnic and take a walk through the swamp--see turtles, snakes, and spiders in their natural environment. Free admission, donation suggested.
