He was the sweetist man. I remember going to South Beach with my friend to buy a pool stick and have my old one repaired. My friend said, Why don't we show him your stick?" We did and by chance he actually made the custum stick I had and tears came to his eyes. He made back when he first started out. That was at star cues. He told me about his Father who also hand crafted billiard equipment including pure ivory billiard balls. He was obviously an apprentice with his experienced Father. He then showed me a book with some of his older sticks which were up to $24,000.00. I had hoped that he would live as long as possible even knowing his sticks would become more valluable after his passing. I thought of asking him to autograph the stick, but somhow it never happened, but the stick was inspected by himself and the pride he had in his eyes was impressive and shared by myself. The stick was in excellent condition and did not even need a new tip. Straight as an arrow. He told me to always store the stick laying horizontally and that it was a Bumble Bee stick.. I went back to him to help him with a webpage for his business and he said he had someone else already helping. It was nice to see he was still alive as my first visit was a pleasant one and he was getting up in the years. He obviously fell asleep with doors open and the fan going while waiting for business. The shop was impressive the stacks of wood to the cieling and the old billiard tools there. I just love to see a shop like that. Like car repair shops, his and the like. I will miss him greatly and people like him. postpone the end. Love, Brian!!

The owner who passed in Dec. 08 was a master cue stick maker, and just a very sweet man. His obit stated he was a Halocaust survivor. So much of his hard life had to go into his craft and cue sticks. I went by there a few times over the years and loved chatting with him. He made me smile.

God bless his soul

Not only is it the best place, but the owner is absolutely great.

No solo es un lugar bueno, pero el dueno es un gran hombre. Me encantaria conocerlo personalmente.
