Once Upon A Child

First let me begin saying that Ms. Barbara seems nice enough, but we all know that you will only hire and keep those that maintain the focus you want for your store.

I have had situations where I was an on-looker and the cashiers were rude and walked away from people waiting to check out. I have taken items there that were new with tags and they claimed the items had stains on them but the items had never been out of the original package.

I have taken high end items with tags on them to sell and was asked and I quote, "Are these real? How can you afford these brand?"

Wow, I know I'm not white but other races have jobs and we have people who give us items we don't want. Maybe we bought something and have just waited too long to take it back to the store.

Funny thing my friend girl (white lady) could take some of the same things in and with no questions asked got some change for them. I wasn't even offered any money.

I have never been treated so rudely in a store. I was shocked. The sales lady talked to me like I was an idiot, whose sole business in the store was to break their merchandise. I was going to buy a new crib set... never mind.

My wife and I are in love with this store. We live in South Florida and whenever we visit we always stop and shop at Once Upon A Child. The management team makes us feel welcomed and are eager to help with all our request. The merchandise is all top off the line from our Britax car seats to our Peg Perego strollers. Last weekend we picked up several new outfits for our 6 month old. The brands consisted of all the best labels like; Baby Gap, Gymboree, Polo, Tommy H and Amanda Remembered. We save a small fortune every time we shop there and in today's society it's nice to have some spare change. We love you OUAC. God Bless

CONS: Wish they had one closer to me.

I love this store! I bought ALL my maternity clothes there- Pea in the Pod, ABS, Gap all the best stuff, that you can't even find in Tally.
I bought the most beautiful furniture for my nursery. The staff even delivered it to my home and helped me measure before hand.
I LOVE clothes shopping here... my daughter has a beautiful wardrobe that someone invested thousands in (not me)! House of Hatten, Carriage Boutiques.
The store is clean and set up perfectly for kids. This is the BEST baby store in town, hands down. I get EVERYTHING but diapers and formula here!

PROS: Boutique selection AND great discounted basics great variety. huge savings
CONS: hard to decide on what to buy

I agree with the last person. They are very high. They charge more for a used Wal-Mart outfit than it cost brand new. They have a lot of outdated items. They don't want to pay you anything for what you bring in.

Ok. the key word here is CONSIGNMENT!!! If I want to pay $50 for a coat for my son, I will go to the Mall. The prices in this store are too high and the staff is unfriendly. Dont even think about getting cash either. I have had them not offer to pay me a dime for clothing my son had never had on his back that the tags were still on. One day the people of Tallahassee are gonna have the common sense to realize, hello, I can get this cheaper brand new.

PROS: No Pros
CONS: Prices are ridiculous
